Anoushka Shankar

Anoushka Shankar is an British and American sitar player. She also performs music. She was among the youngest and the first woman to be awarded an award from the British House of Commons Shield she has had Nine Grammy Awards nominations and was the first artist of Indian origin to play live and to serve as a presenter at the awards ceremony. Anoushka Shakar, a young rising star on the Indian Sitar, is Anoushka. She is the student and daughter of Ravi Shankar. She was born in 1982 in London.
